As a scientist with college degree in Astronomy, minor in Physics and Mathematics, I was appalled to find folks telling outright falsities and presenting bad science to bolster suspicion of our known accepted reality - that the Earth is a beautiful blue globe.

This blog clearly shows scientific proofs that debunk everything that flat Earth proponents claim.  Here we also expose the comments those YouTube video channels delete, because they don't want you to see them.

The Earth is not flat.  That claim is a conspiracy theory perpetrated by ignorant people who have ulterior personal motives and agendas.

The Earth is a beautiful blue spheroid globe spinning on an axis 23.5° once each day, and orbiting the Sun every 365.25 days.

Mike Helmick - - caught deleting video comments that expose flat Earth as a delusion


Dear Readers,

Mike Helmick deletes video comments that contest his flat Earth stance.  Why is that?  What is he afraid of?   Does that shake his world?

After an exchange of ideas where Mike Helmick continued to skew and tout bad science as validation for his flat Earth stance, he has now resorted to just deleting my comments.

Maybe his inaccurate and bad science fools his subscribers, but it do not stand up in the light of modern real physics and optics.

And of course Mike will say he addressed all the points before so why continue this conversation.  But the reality is that he can no longer defend his bad science in the light of modern science.

Sooner rather than later, as he was continuously challenged with real evidence, he just gave up and falls back on his standard (not true) retort.

The standard flat Earth talking points about lens distortion, atmospheric refraction, superior and inferior mirages, perspective, etc.  do not account for what is seen, the evidence presented, by YouTube channel Soundly.

The Soundly series of videos and pictures clearly show the later at Lake Pontchartrain curving downward over the horizon, as the I10 causeway spans across the Lake.

Fact check 1 = You FAIL, since that whole line of thinking and subsequent conclusions regarding lens distortion is wrong.   

Fact check 2 = You FAIL, since you did say 73 percent, and used that 73% as an explanation several times the video. 

 Fact check 3 = You FAIL, because lens distortion does not cause an image to curve downward ONLY as you claim.  

 Fact check 4 = you FAIL, because perspective does not account for subsequent blocks curving downward following the curvature of the Earth. With perspective, all objects above the horizon will forever be above the horizon.  However, objects will get smaller and smaller.

 About perspective:

1. Notice that ALL Objects remain ABOVE the flat plane of the carpet.

2. Notice that ALL objects appear to be smaller (in angular size) the father away from the starting line they are.

3. Notice that ALL objects remain in a straight line. each behind itself.

So PERSPECTIVE IS NOT at all what were are seeing here...

Fact check 5 = you FAIL, because atmospheric REFRACTION does not account for our seeing ONLY 7 of the 24 block structures on the bridge. 

 Fact check 6 = You FAIL, because this cannot account for the 17 concrete blocks missing from the Soundly video and pictures. 

 Fact check 7 = you FAIL, because nether an INFERIOR or SUPERIOR mirage is present IN ANY frames of the video or photos presently by Soundly

 Fact check 8 = You FAIL, for pretending to portray science accurately when all you say is wrong.

So why does Mike Helmick insist that the Earth is flat?  

Simply put, he has ZERO EVIDENCE to support that view, but his religious conviction and love for Jesus Christ somehow was translated into his flat Earth stance.
